FMCSAFETY clients never have to concern themselves with purchasing Drug and Alcohol Files again. We provide our clients with Drug and Alcohol Files that meet FMCSA Regulations §40 and §382. Your company receives a PDF of each document that you can print as often as needed. Our Drug and Alcohol Files contain the following documents:

  1. -Previous Pre-Employment Alcohol & Drug Test Statement
-Request For Information From Previous Employer
    -Alcohol & Drug Records Request
    -Alcohol & Drug Certified Receipt
-Alcohol & Controlled Substance Test Notification
    -Drug Test Result
    -Observed Behavior Reasonable Suspicion Form
    -U.S. DOT Alcohol Testing Form
-Federal Drug Testing Custody and Control Form Example

Clients who maintained Drug and Alcohol Files beforehand are encouraged to submit their current files to FMCSAFETY for review. During our review, we will audit your files for compliance and inform you of any errors. We will then assist you in correcting errors that we may find. Additionally, we will purge any documents we find that are outside of FMCSA’s retention requirements which will prevent incurring fines for past errors.

Whether you are a company with one tractor or 20,000 tractors, all CDL drivers are required to be in a random drug and alcohol testing program, commonly referred to as a consortium. Consortium/Third-Party Administrators (C/TPAs) manage all, or part, of an employer’s DOT drug and alcohol testing program. They perform tasks as agreed to by the employer to assist in implementing the drug and alcohol testing program and to help keep the employer compliant with the DOT/FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Testing rules and regulations.

Clients are automatically enrolled in our National Random Drug and Alcohol Consortium at no additional cost. Every 3 months your company will receive an email instructing you which drivers should submit to a random drug and/or alcohol screen. We also maintain your annual testing percentages to meet FMCSA Regulation No. §382.305 and make sure your company has met FMCSA’s annual testing requirements. FMCSAFETY also monitors each new hire to ensure a negative Pre-Employment Drug Screen is received prior to the driver performing a safety-sensitive function.

Our Drug and Alcohol Consortium is one of the few services we offer to companies who are not also clients. If you are not yet a client but are in need of a reliable drug and alcohol consortium, sign up HERE. Join today for only $89 covering unlimited drivers.

Price for Drug and Alcohol Consortium is an annual subscription based service. Membership will automatically renew every 12 months after the date of initial subscription. Can be cancelled anytime.
